Fun in Nashville

It's been almost 2 weeks since we visited Heather in Nashville over Labor Day weekend. We had so much fun! We even had a celebrity citing--remember Kimberly Williams who played the daughter of Steve Martin in Father of the Bride. She was at Whole Foods with her kid. She's now married to Brad Paisley. Heather and her roomie Susan have seen a few high profile people there.

We just had to go to the Pancake Pantry. If you're ever in Gatlinburg or Nashville, you must go and get the sweet potato pancakes. You won't regret it!

A little fun in the sun. Auntie Heather got this cute ladybug float for Abigail's birthday. If we weren't pulling her around she would start to rock the float as if to say, c'mon--let's get moving!

One of Heather's friends kept Abigail while Heather, Mark, and I headed to the Bluebird Cafe for some live music. Another Nashville attraction that is a must-see. Musicians/song writers perform in this small cafe on the weekends. The guys we heard wrote some of the songs we know like "The Gambler" and "When You Say Nothing At All." We had a great night out!

Here we are at the Bluebird.

The four of us when on a little hike nearby.

Abigail loves her Auntie Heather. We got her to sort of say "Auntie" while we were there.
